how to use photoshop...if u're not artistic...

now i know this question may seem odd, but i'm curious.. cause i see so many people using and making these awesome things in photoshop.. if u'r not artistically inclined, is photoshop worth the time? i mean i can lear to replicate something i like i guess.. but for those who can' t just draw a bunch a lines an poof! it's a work of art.. is it worth it to do simple stuff? or is there a simpler version.. like a photoshp for idiots who can't use photoshop?

I've found that I need to actually use a program to find out if it's the right type for me. For example, Image expert came with my camera, and it's fine for organizing pictures. Printmaster is great for editing pictures, but only if you're using them in one of Printmasters projects, otherwise you have to transfer back and forth. I was not particularly impressed with the free trial version of PhotoShop. PhotoSuite seems to be working very nicely for lighting and scratches, but as far as color adjustment, Printmaster has a much easier interface.

It all depends on what you're doing with it. If you're working on a few pictures to put in table numbers or save the dates or whatever, Printmaster will probably work, since you can do the whole project in one program. If you're making your own wedding album, you need something like Photosuite for the pictures, and then whatever your page creator is going to be.
