How To Word

If I decide to write something on R.S.V.P. Cards about how Children are not being invited, is that rude? and how would you word it?

'Due to limited space, Children are not Invited'

Re: How To Word

i saw on here before wording like '2 seats have been reserved in your honor' and then the line with how many will be attending. so this way they know they are only alowed to rsvp 2 lol

I would write on the invite

'Adult reception to follow' or on the Reception card

'Please join us at our adult reception for dinner and dancing'

hm people might view that as a fake excuse to not have kids.

you dont have to give an excuse.

maybe say something like: 'we look forward to celebrating with you at our adults-only affair'

idk i didnt give it much thought yet but i definitely wouldn't blame something or give an excuse...

no i totally understand- i pretty much meant that you don't owe them any sort of explanation you can just simply state it's adults only.
