How well do you get along with FH/FW's Siblings

How well do you get along with FH/FW's Siblings

We are always talking about FIL's and we well we interact with them but how about their siblings?

I get along ok, (so far) with all of his siblings, (5 sisters, 1 brother). I say so far because I don't live close to them. But FH has a problem with my family that he will never admit to.

FI only has one sister. We do not get along. She did not come to my shower and is probably not coming to the wedding.

I love my FBIL & FSIL. They are wonderful to me. I have known FBIL for 10 years and has been like my older brother since the beginning. My FSIL is an added bonus. We get along great and have become friends and allies against the boys! LOL.

i like DH sister a lot, but she is very quiet, so sometimes it is difficult to have a conversation. i feel like i have to talk a lot to compensate for her reticence. but she is an awesome person who would give the shirt off her back.

DH has one brother & we get along great!

I have one brother & 1 sister & DH gets along really well with both

FBIL are civil to one another, FMIL and I don't see eye to eye at all anymore and FBIL tries to stick his 2 cents in just to complicate everything.

My sister can't stand my FH, she stepped out of line once and I cut her from the BP.

FH has a half brother and a half sister. Let's just say FH has the best traits BY FAR in the family. The other two are older by 6 and 8 years and they're sort of...well, don't want to get mean but they're not doing wonderfully for themselves and they seem to rely on his dad (the common parent) for a ton. Luckily we don't spend an enormous amount of time with them.

I get along well with his 15 siblings. Yes 15 (He's the youngest of them all). There's only one that I haven't met cause she lives in the Dom. Rep.

my BIL is 24 and autistic but he is high functioning which means he carries on a pretty normal life, though his mindset is that of a 10-12 year old..

He and I have a very good relationship -- he always asks my IL's when I am coming over

Yeah 15. Okay, here's the story.
FH dad was married to this lady and with her had 6 kids. The lady passed away during labor with child #6. So he got re-married to FH mom and had 10 more kids. I asked his mom if she was insane. She said, that even though he was 20 years older than she was, back then it was okay to marry a responsible and mature business man.

So, now you may see why I'm going nuts with the wedding planning.

My fiance has 12 brothers and sisters. We have our really good days and then we have our not so good days. His older brother's new wife is an angel though!!!!

my dh has one sister and she seems okay but there not really close so i dont see her that often. i would like to try and get them closer though because im so close to my brother its a shame there not closer

My husband has one sister and we get along great. I lucked out b/c she is very sweet and nice.

My DH has two sisters. One I get along great with, she was a bridesmaid in my wedding. The other, is a total biotch. She is so stuck up. She never comes to anything. She hold things against my DH from when they were like 10. She did come to my wedding, but I wish she hadn't. She showed up an hour into the reception and was walking towards the coatcheck, while I was standing right in the doorway of the bridal suite. I said hello to her and she said oh hi. Um maybe a congratulations would have been nice. It was kinda obvious who I was, considering I had this big poofy white dress on. Luckily, I never have to see her except on Fathers day when we take my FIL out to dinner.

I love my SIL. She is a sweetheart! She posts on here (jen_n_dale) and she's getting married tomorrow!!!!! My hubby only has a sister. I have a brother and a sister. My Dh gets along very well with my brother, and tolerates my sister.
