maintain my composure during my wedding? i'm going to be crying like a baby b/c i know just how emotional i am :*)
i'm trying to desensitize myself by listening to our first dance song and father/daughter song over and over again, but i know by the time 08.08.08 rolls around, my mascara will be smudged all over my face!

Ha! I feel your pain. I'm so emotional in church... and for some reason have been my whole life. And now, every Sunday when we go to church, I get so nervous when I think about the LONG aisle, being in front of everyone and CRYING in front of everyone.
Give me an 'Ave' Maria' and I'll lose it. And yes, that will be played at our wedding! What am I doing?
I'm going to have to practice, like in the movie Runaway Bride.

I am the same way...I am going to be a wreck!!!! I plan on thinking how HAPPY I am and not that I am 'leaving'my father. I am refusing to listen to the words of the father/daghter song that day because I tried to desensitize myself and it is NOT working.

i was looking at my friend's wedding pics (the professional ones) and they just look so sweet together.. started dating around the same time we did.. i started crying, then thought about me & FH and started crying more.. what will i do??

I feel the same way. And if I see FH cry I will really loose it! BTW I love that your getting married 8/8/8 I wanted that but chose 06/07/08 instead. Just as cute!

I have the opposite worry...what if I am not emotional at all?? I never cry when it comes to things having to do with me, but turn on oprah, and I am a mess!!!

I read that it is better to cry then to try and stop it. I heard that makes it worst. Also if you you open your mouth like you have to yawn with you eyes looking up it would stop any tears. Just do not get caught in the pose by any cameras. LOL!

omg i am an emotional reck, i was never like this...everytime i hear our wedding song, tears, thinking about my last days at home tears, its crazy!! I dont want to ruin my make-up either lol overall we cant help our emotions, make sure someone has those make up remover wipes so you can get the black off under your eyes lol

I know I'm a little worried too. I'll be wearing waterproof mascara or fake eyelashes....haven't decided which yet. That should do the trick.

I haven't really thought too much about how emotional i will be. I think I will more nervous than emotional. This is the second time around for me though. Fh doesn't show much emotion and he knows how to handle my emotions and keep me on track. I can be madder than hell and he will get me to laugh, etc.

uh-oh, i forgot that i might be wearing fake eyelashes too.. haha.. there goes that.. n those makeup removal clothes, yep im adding that to my list of things to bring..
