How will you be doing your nails?

I originally wanted a french manicure, but I got a tip from a wedding 'expert' that says if you have a french manicure and put your hand next to your dress, in pics it looks like you have a short nail because the white blends in. My other option is a light pink. Any thoughts?? What will you be doing with your nails?

I'm doing French but you can do it with pink nail polish with white tip so it stands out more..I love the way it looks

Permant uv gel french!!!
I understand what the person is saying but if you look at pictures from weddings your had is not directly on top of the dress

I have alwAys had gel tips, I recently took them off and decided I want my natural nails for the wedding. I will probably do French manicure on fingers and toes :)

I've been thinking about doing something different than french. Maybe a white shimmery light purple. My girls dresses are dark purple and my flowers will be a purple mix. I'm also wearing dark purple on my toes

French with pink and white UV Synergy gel...which is what I get every time I do my nails lol

im doing french.. i have them on my nails all the time, it looks clean and simple. Maybe it depends on how short your nails are?

I bite my nails when I'm anxious so I know I won't be able to be natural right before the wedding.

I get what that woman said but seriously for the amount of wedding photos I've looked at lately i have not seen one where a girls nails look weird next to her dress. I'm all for the french.

I will def be doing french...I use the essie colors and have them do one coat of marshmellow and then one coat of waltz

I almost always do french, but I'll most likely do a pale pink. If not, it'll definitely be a pale shimmery color.

I am so not a 'french' girl
I always have a burgundy or reddish color on my toes and nails... I think Im going to stick to my guns with this one!
Oh and I always get UV color gel!

good to here I'm not the only one who likes dark colors. I think I'm going to go with my favorite color: Essie 'Soul Mate', the name is kinda appropriate anyway, don't ya think?

essie has a really cool white color, it's called waltz, so I'll be using that
