Ive been to many weddings where the bride or groom give out the favors when you hand them the gift and I liked that but thinking about that now, its not very practical...not near the favors (have to run back), also, cardboxes elimate that...
And then theres putting them on the table which would be fine but Im concerned over people knowing that a favor is for the couple, not pp.
What are you girls doing?

Because I have several favors: 1. Placecard votives (PC) 2. Pedastal Votive (PC) 3. Sachets (PP) 4. Lenox heart w/MMs (PC)
All will be at their table (except the placecard holders) I am making custom bags for each couple to carry their favors home along with note of what to take...

well we made a donation so that will be on each guests plate (a bookmark from st judes) also were giving out mini cheesecakes from a place in my neighborhood that is famous for cheesecake.the bus boys will hand them out as the guests leave bc they need to be kepp in fridge

I left mine on the tables and I've been to a lot of weddings where that is done. Guests usually know to count them first so that they can figure out if it's pp or per couple.

our favor were keychains and we placed them in a small pouch and tied the placecards around the pouch. All pouches were placed outside the reception hall during the cocktail hour.

We decided not to do formal favors. In lieu of favors we will be making a donation to a local dog rescue group. Each person will have a card on their plate explaining the donation made in our name. Even thought the rescue group provides us with cards, we have decided to make it a bit more special...my sister is very talented at making stationary, so she will be hand-making each card.

We are placing the favors at the place-setting on the table. We didnt want to make a separate favor table, then people may take 1 each, and we wont have enough. just 1 per couple

We put them on the table and let people take them themselves. We put enough for each couple/single per table. So if we had 5 couples per table, there were 5 favors, if we had 10 individuals, then there were 10 favors.

the wedding i was at a few weeks ago, my friend had all the favors sitting outside of the main room, so that on your way out there was a woman who'd give it to you. They were too big to put on each table - she went overboard with them I think. lol. Bottle of wine, chocolate rose lollypop, and a bag of bagels (her and DH own a bagel place). So obviously you couldn't just go around with all that, handing them to each person.
Mine are smaller. They're just gonna go on the tables.

I really wanted to put them in front of place settings on everyones tables BUT i couldnt do it. My favor boxes ended up being pretty big and would've looked weird on the tables, not only that but would've taken up way too much space.
I did have a favor table.
Although during VH when guests went into the other room to get dessert, and most of tables in reception room were cleared by now, the waitstaff went around and put the favors on the tables i think. But there were also still some left on the favor table and i personally gave them to guests too

I just looked at your pics..this is EXACTLY what I wanted to do but wasn't sure how it would look! I am having personalized shot glasses and was going to put them in muslin bags..and tie the place card on.. it looks GREAT...now i am definitely doing it!!!

We are going to hand them out at the end. Our favor box is alittle too big to leave on the table & will just be in the way. I also didn't want people opening prior & then having paper all over the place.

we had a table setup i have to say i had to get on the dj to announce it a few times at the end of the night. i wanted the table setup near the exit but their was no room since it was a huge table. I put a sign on it as well - it was next to the card box table.

We had our favors on a table behind us. We did not hand them out but told people to take them if they hadn't already when we were saying goodbye. We also had donation autism magnets at each seat. We felt it would be too much on the tables if we had it all there.

ours were double-purpose - favors and placecards - i think it worked out great bec. not too many people got to hoard them even if they wanted to although I noticed some still had boxes with other people's names on them!!
