How would you decorate this blank wall besides scattered pictures?
We will be moving in, in about a month- This is the staircase - there is a vaulted ceiling so it is high. In time I would like to open it a little with posts. Any ideas for right away, it looks plain. Thanks all!

I would put a glass retangle table up against it add a nuce lamp with shade and a large picture frame with smaller ones in the table, to the right of that table i would place a large (fake?) plant

you could also paint that corner wall above the door another color to add some interest

Is that in your living room? Do I see a fireplace in the corner? If you are going to do seating area around the fireplace I would position my furniture first then decide what to do with the wall. A space looks very different once the furniture is placed.

Yes, that will be the living room with fireplace, we have a sep. den where the big couch and TV will be. I want to make this just like a sitting room, not too cluttered. Thanks all!

I like those bookcases that are shaped like a flight of stairs - it would be nice for displays as well as some extra storage if you need it. I couldnt find any pitctures though.
