met in college- he asked me to be his beer pong partner- then said I ****** and kicked me off the team- three months later i met him again at a bar that i knew the bartender- he wanted free drinks with me so he stuck to me like white on rice- then that night my dorm caught on fire!! and we met again at 4am in the main lobby- it was down hill after that!!

Ditto to this one except he was in a bad relationship and living with someone at the time so we remained friends for 4 months and then we just had to be together.

we met in math class in hs........i always gave him the hw because he never did it......

We met through eharmony.com...he was my last match on there....my subscription was ending and I wasn't renewing it. So we chatted via AIM, then eventually the phone and 4 months later we met.

On our first date he was running really early,...I was running really late and I had to drop of my co-op board application to the realtor...so he came with me and waited in the waiting room for me to get done. I knew he was a keeper

Well I knew my fh sister since I was 19 but never met him( he lived around the corner) I was living in Miami and the fh & sister came down to party... He met me and we instantly fell in love... Went home and the plane with him and moved right in together... Been together ever since... It was love at first sighttttt....i am SO cheesy...lolo

When I was in High School (15 yrs old), he is best friends with my best friends cousin.
We met at her house on a rainy day. We were both there and as I walked to walked to work in the rain, he stoped me and gave me a ride.
It has been 9 yrs and he can still take my breath away

I met my FH in Vegas baby!!! LOL! But there is a romantic story to go along with it. I was living there at the time (moved out there with my ex...yuck) and anyway my friend was in town for business. She was staying at the palms and received an room upgrade to a beautiful suite on the 50th floor and invited me to stay with her for the week! It was a monday night and after we did some sightseeing we decided to go to bed. At the last minute we had a change of heart, got dressed and went to get a drink at Ghost Bar. And there was FH...eyeing me up! We started talking...and realized we had a lot in common! He was in Vegas for business and also staying at the Palms! We hung out all night for 2 nights...actually stayed up talking and talking!

He lived in Salt Lake city but promised it wasn't too far and that we'd see eachother every weekend and that we did! 3 months later he received a promotion to NY (I am from NY...hello - coincidence!) and asked me to go with him and here we are! Actaully I am writing this message from Vegas now...he is here for work and I came with!

Also I have to add one more comment. My FH was also in Vegas the week before we met for a bachelor party. We found out we were both at the Rio at the same time and he ended meeting some of my friends!!!!! I had gona home otherwise I would have met him too!!!!! It was fate!!!!

I met my FH through my friends Aunt. And to think I didn't want to go out with anyone! I made an excellent choice. And here it is 10 years later!

I met FH through mutual friends. My best friend and his best friend were dating at the time and the 4 of us would hang out. At first me and FH barely spoke a word to each other since we are both very shy. I had a huge crush on him but couldnt get up the nerve to say anything to him. His friend had told me he was still kinda seeing his ex so i figured id just forget it. But one night me and my friend decided to have a 'slumber party' and invite just the boys over to her place for a fun filled night of beer and cards... Well FH saw i was a light weight drinker and decided it was up to him to 'teach me how to drink'... I guess the beer took away our shyness real quick cause before i knew it he was kissing me and the rest is history.

We also met at a bar in Babylon 3 + yrs ago. I was there w/ 2 other friends, he was too. Talked all night, called same night, we went out 2 days later, then we moved to FL 2 yrs later, and here we are...
Dont listen to that saying.. 'you cant meet someone in a bar!!!! '

haa and if you read my story-- dont listen to 'you cant meet someone at the club' thats what i though lolll shows how much i knew

We met in a Trendy restaurant Bar . I am so tall that I scout out Tall men. (Past tense )

When I made sure I was in his view , we made eye contact. My idiot friend (who is no longer - long story) decided she would interfere & go up to him and just ask quite bluntly if he was 'single'

He said depends on who is asking. She pointed to me, and looked over my way and said YES!


As it turns out we were both in bad relationships that were not 100% over at the time and we didn't connect on the phone even though we exchanged numbers. 3 months later we bumped into each other again in the same place when we were completely detached from the past.
The rest is history, I call it fate and now I call him my DH!
