How are you all handle normal life and your wedding. I am all over the place. Between school, my disappointing job, and planning a wedding.

I feel like I don't have enough Saturdays... seems like all of Sat's are booked with wedding plannig.
Really hard to juggle....

I prioritize and compartmentalize. I do what needs to be done first in each area and work from there. It hasn't been so bad especially since I'm about to stop planning till August to focus on studying for the NY and NJ bar exams.

Thanks! Just take it little by little. I think everyone has times when they are on a planning kick and others where they just don't plan much.

It's really not an issue. I still have over a year, so I have plenty of time to get wedding things done, so I refuse to stress myself out over that. When the rest of life is quieter, I focus on wedding things. Other times, like the last few weeks when I've had finals and papers and stuff, wedding stuff goes on the back burner. It's all about prioritizing.
I have to add though that it's only the wedding I have no problem juggling... the rest of my life is a mess!

im pretty stressed. I desperately need a job by september and the way things are going both FH and I dont know what to do! Getting a job as a NYC teacher is HARD!!! (In queens at least- I wouldnt mind traveling to another borough but the problem is we have grad classes at 430 and now with the extended day there is no way we can be back in time with the traffic..... Oh man Oh man i HOPE something works out for us

so far I've had plenty of time, after the summer I'll be more than half way done with my Masters Degree, but have internships coming up and work fulltime.
Wedding wise I have my main major vendors booked so i'm not stressed, but I do have a lot coming up the next couple weeks. like register, dress shop, etc.

very difficult-- my days 'off' are never really days off, i can't remember the last time i said to myself, wow i have nothing going on today-- i think i'll curl up on the couch and watch lifetime... those days are LONG gone.
between the new puppy, me working TWO jobs and going to school at night while FH works 6 days a week and is going for his master's-- it's really crazy. not to mention, cleaning the house, taking care of everything, cooking, etc (all life's normal duties)... we barely have time to breathe (and i TRY to find time to go to the gym).
the saving grace is that we have such a long engagement time period so i have plenty of time to do everything-- i got SO much out of the way already and i just do things little by little... one bye one. it's hard though, really hard but worth it!

So far everything has been working out ok. Thank god I have a great and stable job, FH just opended up his own place in Nov and that can be an emotional roller coaster sometimes.
FH and I work well together and roll with the punches. I tried to book as many vendors as I can now and that way we have the summer to just relax and plan as we go along.
I am sure it is going to be crazy down the line, but can't complain.

In the begining I was all over the place and completely overwhelmed. I have learned since them to make a list of everything and do one thing at a time.

I have been lucky so far, it has been really smooth. I take advantage of a little time at work to make phone calls and check in on things. I still have plenty to do and quite a bit of time ahead of me! I think I'm on track.

Im finding it very difficult and I am very stressed! Hence the fact that I do not have 1,000 posts because I have like no time! I am also working as a full time teacher, working a 2nd job, going to school for my masters, and planning a wedding! I find that my wedding is taking the back seat! I have done wedding things on vacations and then i plan to do some more during the summer when things calm down! I give you girls a lot of credit that get all of it done! I dont know how you do it!
