How's the LIW Kiddies ????

We havent talked about 'the kids' in a while girls!
and we have never reschedule our LIW KIDDIES Playgroup at the beach !

SOOO, what are some things that your cutie pie is up to? Anything funny, silly? New faces? New sounds? Accomplishments ?? TELL TELL (pictures MORE than WELCOME !!!)

John Anthony is JUST about ready to crawl any day. He does PUSH-UPS, its the funniest sight. He is on the floor on his belly, and pushes himself SOO far up that he looks like he's doing pushups! I MUST take a picture of this. Then he gets on to his knees, he'll rock on his knees (as his arms are still on the ground) but he hasnt just yet crawled. He's 'right there' ! another few days !

He ADORES his binky more than ever !! He cries when we leave the room or leave his sight. Just a few weeks ago, he started with the 'pick me up' arms, which make me MELT

He knows a few songs my mom sings to him and knows to ROCK HIS BODY at a certain time. Its priceless...

Anna, you are so cute b/c I was just thinking about this today!

Paul is walking (as you know), and he's into EVERYTHING! We are working on nailing down everything in the house!

Lately, he has learned to play 'catch' with any ball that's around. He knows how to throw it to Mommy (or Daddy) and wait for us to roll it back.

He knows how to hold the telephone to his ear and he 'talks' into it! You can't even IMAGINE how CUTE this is!

If you sing, 'If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands,' he knows EXACTLY when to clap his hands.

If you sing the 5 Little Monkies song, he shakes his index finger (just like Mommy does) when we get to the part about the doctor saying, 'No more monkies jumping on the bed!' ADORABLE!

Paul likes to talk to his buddy John Anthony as they stroll through the mall w/their mommies and he even reaches to shake JA's hand! SO CUTE!

Paul has cut 3 new teeth over the past 2 weeks - all molars - for a total of ten teeth

He throws his hands over his head when you ask him, 'How big is Paul?'

He's jabbering and babbling like CRAZY....uses facial expressions and everything....but, no actual words besides Mamma and Dadda yet.

Yes it was a riot, hearing their voices from the strollers:

JA: 'Ehhh, eehh, ahhh, ehhhh brrr'
Paul: 'EHH EHHH AAHHHH'
JA:(loud like his mommy): EEHH AHHHHH (and now with expression and getting ancy)

I think he just wanted OUT Of that stroller !

AWWWWW... you guys make me wanna add what little Emma is doing.

Well she can say, good girl, good boy, bee, see, look, book, hi, bye bye, thank you, sippy, ma ma and da da, baby, pretty

She drinks from her sippy like a champ. Today she learned how to drink from a straw. It was so cute. I gave her my Sprite thinking she wouldnt be able to figure it out... nope she put her lips around it and s*cked. The face she made was PRICELESS.

We ask her to find things around the house, her ball, Baby Tad etc. she knows exactly what to look for.

She has almost mastered walking, its been 2 1/2 months since her first step but shes SOOO into it now.

She rolls the ball around the house and goes 'WEEEEEE' when she hits it.

She talks to her daddy on the phone. When he says HI EMMA she says HI DADDY.

If we ask her where her nose is she points to her nose, she also knows where the eyes are.

I ask her where her daddy is and she goes over to him.

She 'dances' when Baby Tad plays music.

She claps her hands and says YAY!!!!

She has 6 teeth - 2 bottom and 4 top

She sleeps through the night.

SHES AMAZING!!

WOW, Karen - Emma's talking ALOT!! That is so wonderful!

Claud - 10 teeth!!! I cant believe their little mouths can hold so many!!!

Also - as of like 8 months whenever we would say 'HOW BIG IS EMMA, SO BIG' She would stick out her lower lip and get the whole pouty face going and cry... I dont know why she is so sensitive. She doesnt know how big she is but I cant wait for the day when she does. I bet its SOOO cute to watch Paul do it!!

I miss the baby stages!!!

Patrick is a climber in every sense of the word!! He's tried to climb out of the crib!! (NOt a fun stage)

Since the wedding he has to do 'Cheers' when we are both drinking.

Words are few but he does have some questions going. The usual 'Whats that?' who's that?'

He attempts Love you which makes me melt!!

He just amazes me.

I posted photos of him as my best man @ my wedding. He was the perfect boy. VERY quiet!! EVERYONE was impressed!

Tracy, I feel for you....my little guy is ALREADY a climber and I have my heart in my throat at least once a day now

And I think the 'Cheers' thing is ADORABLE! OMG, I would have to eat him up everytime he did that!

So, did he give a good speech at the wedding??

CLaud-No he didn't give a speech. One of the groomsmen did. But he said that Patrick told him what to say!!

Tracy if you miss the baby stages - how do you think I feel?

Justin will be 2 1/2 on Saturdayand he is a 2 1/2 year old boy - Claud and Anna you'll soon see what I am talking about

He is very busy and is into everything!!!!He just learned to open the refrigerator (or fidg-a as he calls it) and goes right for the chocolate syrup of course!!! My answer was time to lock the fidg-a up!

He speaks very well and will repeat ANYTHING!!! So we are very careful with what we say. He does speak in setences and will carry on a conversation.

He will say his full name Justin Nicholas XXXXX. He knows his address, can count to 20, knows all parts to a motorcycle and will even tell you the president and vice presidents name. He likes to sing (ever since American Idol and still speaks of Rueben and Clay) - so he goes around the house singing Elmos World.

The funniest thing he did this week, is while he was watching one of the Baby Einstein Videos (I think it was Mozart - the one about Language), they have a monkey and a gorilla come out and play the cymbols, he is petrified of this and will tell you 'I scared of the monkey' so the part was coming up so he got up, went to the VCR and fast forwarded through the part - ALL BY HIMSELF. I was shocked.

My advice is to treasure each and every day. It all goes by soooo fast. Before you know it they are not depending on you for everything, but as you tuck and kiss them into bed (after reading them 3 stories of course) you get that Kiss and hear those wonderful words 'I Wuv You Mama' and life is good

Justin sounds SO cute!!

Patrick doesn't talk much but he's got the VCR/DVD thing down pat!! (He lives for electronics)
He also loves the fridge & goes right for the chocolate (John's family gave us ALOT of Irish chocolate so our fridge is packed)

He's also in the naked stage. He'll rip off his diaper at any chance!
