I know there are about 20 people who are not coming to the wedding. Family across the country who have already expressed regrets. And there are a few obligatory parents frineds we have to invited who cannot come as well.
would it be so tacky if I ordered a small amount of simple white invites to print up on my computer to send to these people? My invites are invloved and pricey - and I thought this might be a way to save my parents some money in this department.
Let me know your thoughts on this - please be honest.

family members that we know won't be attending the wedding, we'll be sending them same invite as everyone else.

Honestly, I think its tacky. When you order invites in bulk it isn't as expensive as only ordering 50 or 75. I would just order a few extra.

if your family talk to each other this can be a disaster I would just order the same invites and see if you can save some money elsewhere

I don't think it's a good idea to send different ones. In the grand scheme of things is it really going to affect your budget?

They should all get the same invite. Even though they can't attend the wedding, there's always a chance that they may see the real invitation (photo album, framed on your wall, in the video, etc.)
I just had all of my invitations reprinted because we needed to change the wording as not to potentially offend two guests. Any suggestions on what to do with 150 obsolete invitations?
