Hrmmmm **UPDATE**

So i heard through the grape vine that the person we booked the hall with has LEFT!

Wouldnt you think they would call you and tell you this and let you know who you would be dealing with ....I'm annoyed,on edge, a whole bundle full of emotions!!!!

How would you guys feel?


So they called me back and they said this is a very recent occurance and my BM has left for another opportunity. I said that's all well and good but i would still like to come in and meet withthe person we will be dealing with now.
So they said they would be available anytime and reassured me that my wedding will be spectacular!
I feel a bit better....thanks for all the thought ladies!

I have heard of this happening before - but YES I would absolutely be feeling the same way as you.

It's nerveracking! (sp?)

I know it's not the same but one of my drs left in december and when i called to make my appt with her (last week) they told me she retired! I was like omg!! I have been goign to her for years since my first visit to this kind of dr. and she didn't call her patients, write letters, nothing!! It's terrible b.c we depend on these people and they do this to us!!

I would def be annoyed if they did not call.... I would be upset in a way b/c the orginal persaon may have worked out deals with you and what not and you just have to hope and pray the new person doesnt screw things up..

That reminds me I havent spoken to RH since we booked better make a call and say hello!

Nope, they dont call you because they dont want you to get worried.

I found out my BM left when I went in for my final meeting I was NOT happy about it but in the end it worked out. Speak to your hall-your BM actually has nothing to do with your wedding-they just check in and make sure everything is going ok-the only person who is important is your Maitre D and bridal attendants so try not to get worried about it too much.

Could be depending on your hall-I thought the same thing about mine but found out that that isnt how it goes. Call and ask-let them know that you are upset with the situation and that you wan t to sit down and meet with whoever it is that will be taking over yoru wedding so you can over everything again

I would be furious!

Since booking I've met with the BM from my hall OVER 10 TIMES and I even saw him while FH & I were out and he bought us a drink....so if I found out he was leaving...I'd be really upset.

However, if I hadn't met with him since I booked then I wouldn't care.

i dont even TALK or deal with my BM. the day i decided to sign the contract at my RH the BM i had originally talked to was out so i sat with someone else and CLICKED but the first BM still stays on my contract bcuz it was who i originally sat down with.

LOL well i bother my NON-BM all the time!!! i email her to death but she is sooooo sweet and patient with me she answers all of my questions. She even told the preferred limo company for my RH that i was a PERSONAL FRIEND of hers and they need to give me the 'personal friend' discount! lol

thats awesome!!!!! my mom has bothered the owner in the phone before but thats the extent of it... otherwise, they dunno who i am ... that will change by next yr im sure
