My FH's mom is really elderly (in her eighties). It is all she can do to remain on her feet for any length of time, so he doesn't want to force her to dance, and it also gives him a great excuse not to have to anyway, because he hates the spotlight as it is. What other kind of tribute can we do for his mom if they don't dance together? Any ideas?

Re: Hubby doesn't want to dance....
Maybe present her with the bouquet instead of doing a bouquet toss?

Did he ask her if she wants to dance? I think he should check with her first...

i agree, she may really want to and may be upset if she doesn't get to, if they are not going to dance i like the idea of giving flowers to her

I think he should talk to her and see if she wants to dance. If it is important to her then maybe they can just dance for a little bit.

Thanks everybody. Presenting her with flowers sounds like a good idea.
