He doesnt have a resporitory funk, cough,or poops. He threw up once earlier. He just has a high fever that doesnt seem to be going down with tylenol. I dont know what else to do for him.

Hey Gail,

An old remedy that my mom used to do for me when I ran high fevers is: to take some rubbing alcohol & dilute it a little with some water then dip some cotton balls in it & rub it over his whole body - this will help him feel cooler & will bring down the temp a little...just watch the #'s on the thermometer...once they start going over 102.5 that's when you really need to get him to a dr or hospital. Let us know how he makes out...will say 's for him & for you!

Hey Gail -

I woke up this morning with a fever (of course! First full day home after the HM). DH took good care of me and put me on a regimen - Two tylenol, then two hours later two Advil, then two hours later two tylenol, then two hours later two Advil. Then I stopped. My fever went away sometime around 4:30 and I'm feeling better, if not great. Not having a fever helps a LOT, because I'm much less lethargic and can actually move now.

Just a thought! Hope he feels better!

This is definitely going around. FH and his two kids have had the same symptoms this week!

Definitely going around!! If the fever doesnt go down I might head to the doc just to make sure he shouldn't be taking tamiflu or anything like that! I hope he feels better soon!
