Hubby lost wedding ring last night

We got home from a Christmas party, then he was outside and then when he came in he looked down and said 'where's my ring???' - then we searched the house and outside frantically and had no luck I feel so sad- he told me it was just a ring and that nothing could ever break our bond but that he hopes that we find it- and I freaked out and started crying because though he's right- it's a symbol, that we gave eachother at our wedding
Anyone else have this happen yet? If so, how did you react and what did you do if you didn't find it- just go out and buy him another ring????

I found his ring just in time for his birthday!!!!
I'm so happy!!! Thanks for all of your good wishes hoping I'd find it! We searched high and low and when I moved my bags out of the trunk of our car it fell out- he had forgotten that he went in there to get me something!
