Huge Bridal Party!!!

Hello Ladies

So here's the deal.... My FH and I have a hugggge bridal party. It includes, 2 MOH, 8 Bridesmaids, 3 Junior Bridesmaids, and 2 Flower Girls... My FH has the same number attendants that I do on his side with the exception of Junior Groomsmen and no Ring Bearer. So this means we have a total of 10 on my side, and 10 his.... and about 5 kids.... So yes we have a really huge bridal party... I know it sounds crazy... but to be honest with you, I wouldn't have it any other way...

So I guess my question is, am I the only insane future bride out there with a large bridal party??

It's really too late for me to pull people out as everyone in our bridal party have already been informed. I know it's going to be crazy and a little hectic for me, so If anyone out there is planning to have a large bridal party and can offer a bit of advice on how to keep everything from getting out of control i.e bridesmaids fitting, wedding rehearsal etc. Please feel free to share..

I have

3 ring bearers
3 flower girls
1 maid of honor
6 bridesmaids
1 best man
6 groomsman

if you include FH and I.. there are 22 people in my bridal party.

I also wouldn't have it any other way. I wouldn't cut one single person from my list. Just remember you invited them to be part of the party for a reason - when it seems overwhelming, just remember you love them lol

I know closer to the date it will get more hectic - but right now the only problem I'm having is how much flowers are going to cost with all the bouquets.

I bought all the girls gifts already. They are paying for their own dresses.

When it comes time to start looking for dresses I'm taking my sister (MOH) and my mom.. and MAYBE one of my girlfriends. That is it. Everyone else will just have to deal with what we pick.

1-MOH my sister
2-Bridesmaids-my best friend; and considering asking FI best female friend who i've become friends with to serve as my other BM.
1-flower girl my niece who will be 4.
1-Ring Bearer-My god son or young boy cousin not sure yet.

I never saw myself having a big bridal party; and i couldn't imagine the work that goes into rounding up that many people.

I would just say, be very organized. Inform everyone way in advance when you are planning something where everyone is involved. HTH and GL!

I think that brings me in at 16 in my bridal party. I always knew that I'd have a large party because FH has a LOT of siblings. At least 5 members are part of his immediate family.

For dresses and fittings, I plan on prpbably getting different dresses in the same color so each girl can feel comfortable and look great. I plan on taking 2-3 at a time to pick out dresses and then by fitting time, hopefully I'll be able to get all the BMs together so it can be done at one. I'll take FGs separately. Those are my plans so far... I'm sure this will be a topic that comes up alot during planning so we all can compare notes

crashing, im having 2 moh's and 10 bms, oh and 2 fg's lol.

fh is having 1 bm and 9 gm.

hey! so far i have 1 MOH and 4 BMs 1 FG and 5 GMs...it may be growing.

don't worry about having a lot of people...if you want them all to be in the wedding then don't have it any other way. i understand what you mean...it is going to be a little hectic. Maybe you can find specials or give something little for gifts...and don't feel like you need to please everyone. I would just take one or 2 girls with you to look at bridesmaid dresses...too many opinions may drive you nuts. but it is do-able! good luck!!! and take everything one step at a time.
