My cousin and his girlfriend for over 2 years are both in my bridal party- and my cousin left her- the dresses r ordered and im close friends w/her now-- what do i do?

i completely agree. Shes not a stranger to you shes your friend and deserves to be in your BP. Your cousin needs to understand that and be mature about it. I hope it all works out.

well....to me the answer is in the question.....you are close friends with her! You've already asked her to be in the bridal party, and since your cousin left her, she'd probably feel even more rejected if you asked her if she'd still want to be in the bridal party. I would definitely leave her in if you guys are close. Did they have a nasty break up? like one of them cheated or something? You still have about 6 months until your wedding, by that time they could get back together, or at least be around each other as friends. This is a rough situation!! I hope it all works out!!

The only problem is we met through him-- but i agree she's been through enough w/him leaving her-----im praying they get back together-- im waiting for her 2 bring it up-- she is more than welcome to be in it still if she wants to and if hes not okk with it- he can drop out......lol

oh and btw, I just had this same scenario, I was in my friend Jen's wedding party, and so was my ex.....of course for us it's been 6 years since we dated (but we were together for 4 years, so it was def. my most serious relationship other than FH).....I was glad that my friend didn't let us being ex'es discourage her from picking who she wanted in her BP. You're probably just feeling really bad for your friend b/c you don't want her to feel awkward on your wedding day.

I would leave it up to her as well... see how she feels about the whole thing.. tell her you def. still want her in it, but you understand if she doesnt feel comfortable... good luck!!!
