HUGE Burtons RANT
Sorry so long but this is unbelieveable
one of my best friends wedding is in 2 weeks. i picked up my BM dress and my sisters from burtons 2 weeks ago. things have been so hectic with the move and my brothers wedding in IL that my sister (who lives in the Bronx) was just finally able to try her dress on a few days ago .... well, wouldnt you know, it is a little tight around her rib cage.
So off to Burtons she goes to see about having it altered. The woman tells her 'sorry there is nothing we can do once a dress leaves the store, this is store policy.' UHHHH what? No one ever told me that, this 'policy' isnt posted anywhere and it isnt even written on the reciept. Not to mention, when I picked the dresses up, I wasnt even asked if I wanted to try them on, the woman didnt even ask for ID to make sure it was me who was picking up my dress and my sisters. You cant bring a dress home and then bring it back to be altered???

So my sister calls the bride (who had 9 dresses and flowers purchased through them) and she was basically told ... SORRY there is nothing we can do for you!![]()

The kicker - my sister asks to see the BL sizing chart just to be sure her dress was ordered in the right size because it should have fit and she hasnt gained weight since she was measured - wouldnt you know .... BURTONS ORDERED THE WRONG SIZE and still they refused to help!!??!! AWESOME customer service!![]()
We took her dress elsewhere and it will be fixed. ugh .... Girls, dont let this happen to you.![]()
