Hugs Needed

Hi girls. I need some hugs today. I am absolutely at the breaking point with my job. I hate it so much and I just want to walk out so bad, but can't because I need the money for the wedding. I told myself to stick with it at least until then, but I don't think I'm gonna make it. I've started to look, but I can't even find jobs to apply to. I just feel so down. I know I should be so excited at this point in my life with all the good going on but I'm so miserable here it's making it very difficult.

I do community relations for a large non-profit in NYC. I am looking to go back to doing community relations in a corporate environment, specifically in NJ or PA. Anyone have any thoughts?

I completely know what you're going through...I went through the same thing. Honestly...I'm still at my job almost 6 mths later (after the wedding).

I'm sorry!!! I hope it gets better for you... or you find something you like! Nothing worse than being at a job you hate. I've been feeling kind of the same way recently... *****.

Awwwww I'm sorry you're having an icky day. What field ar eyou in, maybe we can help, I just switched jobs about a month ago ( i used to go home and cry too) and i still have companies repsonding to my resume perhaps i have contact info for something you might be interested in.

I'm sorry, I really am. I know what a chore it can be going to a job that you dislike. Makes it hard to get up in the morning.

I wish I had a lead for you. Definitely update your resume on monster, because a lot of times people will find your resume and email you.

I don't know if you are interested, but Barnes and Noble stores have onsite Community Relations Managers. I LOVE LOVE working for Barnes and Noble..the company is phenomanal and I love books and it is just a great environment. You should try www.BNINC.com. I am sure there are some stores in the areas you are looking in. Depending on your experience and what your ambition is there are also Reginal Community Relations directors for the company.
