I read that his injuries are not life threatening but his friend is in critical condition.

That is awful. I saw that this morning on perezhilton.com
I know on the show he drove race cars and was a car enthusiast, so maybe that is where being a teenage boy and speeding came into play.
I just hope everyone is ok.

I will never understand why parents buy their kids brand new speed racer cars when they first get their licenses. My kid is getting a jalopy that goes from 0 to 60 in 5 minutes to learn how to drive

i guess since he races cars he figured he could handle it.. but a race car on a track (although very dangerous) is totally different than driving on the road with real people who don't race cars for a living!! it's unfortunate. if he was speeding i hope he learned to keep that on the track and off the road.. i really hope everyone comes out ok!!!!!!!!!!!
