Who is in your bridal party? How did you decide to have them? How many?
What are they/did they wear? Please feel free to post pics!
My bridemaids are my sister (MOH), my three FSIL's, and my good friend/roommate from college. I felt strongly about having my family in my BP, I have a good relationship with them and wanted to 'join' our families that way. Also, I had my friend because we used to live together and she has done SO much for me through the years, I wanted to have her by my side that day. I also wanted to keep my BP small - JMO.
They are all wearing different style champagne dresses from davids bridal. I am going to try to post them so they all come out here together...let's give this a shot!
Here are dresses 4 of the girls are wearing. They come out nice and smaller than photobucket this way.
MOH was my bffl!! and the rest of the girls consited of my friends and my SIL. They wore a Wtoo dress MOH was in STYLE 9286 (maternity) Ocean color w/ Tiffany Sash BM's were in STYLE 443 Tiffany color w/ Ocean Sash
I had 5 BMs and 1 MOH. I am an only child so this was very difficult for me and because I have a lot of close friends from different stages of my life.
Since I was an only child I obviously didn't have a sister to be my MOH, but I did have my foreign exchange student Petya. She came to live with us when she was 18 and a senior in High School in 1994 (I was a freshmen). She has been like my sister ever since. We went to the same college too and overlapped their a year. So that was a no brainer, except she lives in Paris.
My BMs - I chose one of my closest friends from each stage of my life. My best friend from 6th grade, my Junior High/HS friend, my best friend from college, and my best friend from living in DC for Grad School, then I added the oldest of my female cousins, who is only 22 and so cute. We always had a special relationship so it was exciting to have her in it. It was also her first wedding.
I had two more friends I strongly considered but DH had to go 6 or 9, and 9 on each side was to many for me. The one girl I should have had, she was a better BM to me then my BMs were and I made her a reader. The other girl, I was sad I didn't pick her, but she ended up being 6 months pregnant on my wedding day so it worked out well.
They wore Alfred Angelo dresses, style 6133 in pool blue with ivory ribbons.

I am havine my two sisters (co-maids of honor) and FSIL - that's it.
They are wearing Bari Jay dresses
The dress looks awful in the picture on the website but looks great in person. I think they should have told the model not to slouch.

I had 1 MOH & 2 other BM's & 1 FG.
I chose MOH b/c she & I had developed a very close relationship over the past 3 years - we worked together and I felt she was going to be a huge help to me when it came time for the wedding b/c she lived the closest out of the 3. (I was starting to regret my choice of MOH & do ever so now that wedding is over - but that's another story for another thread)
other 2 - 1 I have been friends w/ since we were 6 years old & the other is really my Best Friend. The only reasosn I didnt ask her is b/c she already has a 3 yr old son, and 2 older step-kids - I wasnt sure if she would have been able to make the committment w/ all of that going on.)
BM's all wore same dress from David's Bridal In Palm Beach Coral.
FG was my cousin's daughter - her dress also from DB & it matched the detail in my dress...loved it!
I am having my daughter as my MOH and 2 BM's BM#1 is my best friend since strollers and BM#2 is my best friend now and for the past 7 years. My dresses just came in so I will post pics this weekend at their fitting!!

We kept it very small -- I just had my best friend as my MOH and my SIL as my BM. I also had my brother and my other best friend as two GM.
But here's me with my girls!
They wore Alfred Angelo dresses in pistachio with lavender sashes and white flowers. I actually saw the dresses in an ad in a magazine and loved them so much, and my girls didn't mind. They were WONDERFUL about going along with whatever I wanted. So pretty and springy! I love the spring!

Thanks so much!!! We got married in July, but I wanted a spring theme. Spring = nice weather & baseball season to me (not to mention my bday) so it's everything I love!
That photo was actually taken behind our hotel. They had such lush gardens out there, and I was so pleased! It was supposed to pour the whole day, but it didn't rain at all until we were all tucked in at the hotel after the wedding was done.

I just had my MOH (my only female cousin). I am an only child too, and she is like my sister. We were born 5 months apart. DH & I wanted a small bridal party so just MOH, BM, and two ring boys. She wore a silver/gray bebe runway dress. She altered it herself removing the tan sash it came with, and added a dark grey thin belt with a blue/silver flower from j-crew. It was perfect the exact color I wanted, and she picked it out herself. She just happen to find it one day out shopping.

one was my step sister in law one was fsil 3 were my cousins
2 cousins could not attend due to the emergency liver transplant
i wanted to keep it to just family...
i had 5 fg's
1 was step sister inlaw's daughter moh's daughter 2 cousins and fsil's daughter
we purchased a dress from alyce designs i think it was style #1155 in cranberry
the fg's dress was from mygirldress.com
i was very happy with both dresses!!

I actually have a rather large BP. I originally wanted it to be 5 but I ended up with 9 including the MOH.
MOH was someone who I've known for a VERY long time... not my longest friend... but I've known her since about 6th grade. We were very close at the time of the engagement and she assisted in the ring picking out.
then I have 8 bridesmaids. One is my 2nd longest friend... Sabrina. I met her in 4th grade. So I've known her practically my whole life. I can't imagine her not being in the wedding. And if I had gotten engaged at a different point in my life, she probably would have been my MOH.
Another BM is this girl Jackie. I've known her since I was 14 or so.
Then Channon - who is a an old co-worker of mine... turned friend... and now neighbor. She lives upstairs from me.
Luana - she is my hippy girl!!! LOVE her!! She reminds me to be a free spirit and to let loose and have fun. I met her in HS. And we've been great friends ever since. Although there are times where we have been seperated... she will always be in my life.
Jen - I've known her since HS as well. We were very close during our early and mid 20s.
Dana - Ahh.. Dana!! haha!! she is a riot!! Met her in HS. Lost touch with her for a few years after that and would randomly run into her. Now we are great friends. DANER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kristen - FH's niece. She is 22 or so. I thought it would be a cute way to incorporate someone from his side into my bridal party... and we are going to technically be family.
Allegra - By far the BEST BM EVER!!!! And NOT just because she will most likely see and read this either!! haha!!! I met her on here... and I can't exactly explain it other then to say she is my 'twinnie'. I never met anyone sooooooo much like me. It's NUTS!!! aside from us having VERY similiar personalities...She is the sweetest most helpful amazing person. She's a GREAT friend... and I LOVE hanging out with her!! SOOO much fun!!!! She is the one I've known the least amount of time... but I feel like I've known her the longest!!!
We also have 2 flower girls - both are FH niece's and then 1 RB who is FH nephew. Then there are also 9 guys... 1 BM and 8 GM's.

i have 10 bm's and 2 moh's!!! i have alot of close fam and friends that are like my sisters. they have alll been in my life forever. even tho i have 12, i actually cut it down!!!
