Humpday QOTD 12/3/08

So since I saw my ex this morning I figured I'd ask an ex related question.......

If you ran into your most serious ex would you say hi? And would you tell FH you saw him?

I normally would say hi to most of my ex's since I usually stay friends with them, but the one I keep seeing was kinda a stalker and I left him for FH. So I think it would be best if I didnt but I know if I literally Ran into him and couldnt pretend I didnt see him lol I would say hi. And yes I would tell FH

I would turn around and walk the other way.
We were together for a year and a half almost and let's just say it didn't end well lol. Any other ex? I'd say hi and probably chat a bit.
Oh and I would absolutely tell FH.

If he saw me then yes I would say hi etc.. but if he didn't I would absolutely run and hide!! And yes I would probably tell FH, I tell him everything.

i had two serious boyfriends before FH - and i have seen and talked to them and FH has known about both. the first was from my freshman year at college, it was 'serious' at the time but in retrospect, wasn't anything special. we had gotten back in touch and he asked me to dinner, FH (just a BF at the time) said sure why not? so i went, and my ex ended up being really weird after when i told him FH wanted to meet him if we still wanted to be friends. then my most recent one i saw last year and it was pleasantly awkward because he was very abusive to me and we had a BIG war in e-mails one day about it... but if i saw either one i would definitely say hi and tell FH.

I would definitely say hi, but I don't think I would tell FH - he wouldn't handle it well.

Same here! Though I don't think he would say hi to me, his wife is a ______. We were friends long after our break up until she wouldn't let him be friends with me.

Of course I would! One of them I'd want to rub in his face how happy I am (compared to how miserable I was with him!)...mean, I know.

The other one I see sporadically b/c of mutual friends. He's married and we're very cordial. We talk on IM a bit, too. No hard feelings there.

I do hope i never run into him but if i do i would absolutly say hi and flash my left hand as much as possible! It was a reallly bad break up but i still belive i made out in the deal (life wise, mines better! lol)

and i would tell FH i ran into him. its not worth is if he ever knew i kept things from him no matter how small and insignificant

Not too long ago on this site one of my ex's fiancee FM me and said that her FH had saw my picture on a post here and wanted to say hello, OK fine, i congratulated them and moved on. Well, imageine my shock and suprise when one saturday morning when I am coming home from Fh's house I find this ex at my house. He just stopped by ( he lives like 25 minutes away). Strange since I hadn't seen or spoken to him in about 5 years.

I would probably try to avoid him. If I couldn't get around it I would politely say hi and make some excuse to leave. I wouldn't tell FH bc he would look further into it that need be.

I've randomly ran into him but it was more from a distance. Would probably say hi if there was opportunity and I've told FH before. But seeing him makes me sad since it reminds me of how things fell apart.
