So as many of you know, FH and I are planning our wedding from out of town and while living apart... ahem, I should say I'M planning the wedding, and its been super frustrating lately trying to get him involved when we're not even on the same continent. My mom thinks I'm being dumb for wanting him to get more involved sooo.....
1. Is your FH involved in the wedding planning (or any specific aspects?) 2. Are you happy with this level? Do you wish he would do more, or even do less? 3. What part is he most interested in?

1. FH is currently NOT involved in wedding planning although he claims he wants to. He says its too hard with us being apart and he wants to wait until we're together again. Which I understand except by the time we're back together again its under a year and I don't want to wait that long to book vendors.
2. I wish he would do more helping me find photogs, as my computer system here wont really let me look at pictures. I came up with a plan that would make it work for us, but he keeps making excuses over why he can't help.
3. The one aspect he said he's interested in is photography, as he used to do a little bit and he is really artistic. I also really want his help doing the invites and paper stuff as he used to do graphic design, and I know I can wait awhile on that stuff.

1. Is your FH involved in the wedding planning (or any specific aspects?) My FH didn't set up any of our appointments so far, but when it comes time to attend the appointments, he does and he has a lot more to say that I thought he would.
2. Are you happy with this level? Do you wish he would do more, or even do less? I'm happy he's involved and interested but I wish he took more initiative in setting the appointments up.

Sometimes it stinks, like at bridal shows and stuff when I have to go by myself.

I am happy with what he is doing. He is giving me input but at the same time giving me the freedom to plan the wedding.

FH is very involved.. he calls vendors when I cant attends all meetings and gives his opinions etc.

Im very happy! were totally planning this together and I love it!

I would say he cares most about the big things, the RH, food, photo, dj, flowers

FH is not involved as much as i would want him to be.....im pretty much handliing everything, seting up appointments and telling him where he has to be and go etc....
I wish he was more involved so we can work on things together instead of asking his opinion on something and he says whatever i want he is happy with LOL....i dont mind it though, this way i can do whatever i like LOL
He was very concerened with the photographer and RH, i got alot of input from himon it and he really voiced his opinion on it

1. FH is equally involved in planning as I am (except the dress).
2. I wouldn't have it any other way. It is as much my day as it is his. (plus he has really good taste).
3. He is interested in everything. He wants the day to be about us and reflect us as much as possible.
This post makes me feel so in love with him!

1. FH is not involved in the wedding planning. He said everything is up to me & I can do anything I want. 'Just tell me when to show up'. I did do my research for each vendor & RH & made sure he was involved & took him to finalize the vendors. I told him I wont book anything without asking him first!
2. I am happy with this. I feel like if he was more involved it would cause a fight. He's a guy, can he really have an opinion on what kind of flowers we have or what color the bridesmaids dresses should be?
3. He was interested in the DJ, but then told me to do whatever I want. He said he just wanted a DJ that will keep everyone dancing all night. He seems pretty interested in the honeymoon too

2. Are you happy with this level? Do you wish he would do more, or even do less? I am very happy but sometimes when I have a vision, especially one that I've had since the age of 5...i don't want him to go against it. So far he hasn't and planning has been going smoothly.

He is most interested in the Church and the venue!

Music (band/DJ) - we haven't decided yet...

FH is not that invovled it was only invovled in the registry part which we did online last night and that is about it i wish he cared more and wanted to be invovled more. I am so not happy about his level of invovlement at all i want him invovled more it is his wedding too. he was most intrested in the registry and when we book our DJ because we know our DJ.

So far, FH has been just as involved as I have been. He's got amazing taste so I love having his input. It seems he has a lot to say all the way down to the color scheme. It's nice to see his level of excitement so I love it. So far it's been great (talk to me in 9 months tho )
We have only booked the RH and we both agreed immediately! We hope to soon tackle photography/videography and entertainment!

He doesn't really care about the details, the rh photo limo flowers or things like that although he did say he wants to have a pimp cane (which ain't happenin!) and he mostly is concerned with the bottom line. We both really want to buy a house and he thinks the wedding is going to set us back too much
2. Are you happy with this level? Do you wish he would do more, or even do less? I like doing it most of it myself and with my girls. I don't want to keep boring/stressing him but I do talk to him about it a lot. I drive him crazy with my indecisiveness.
