Any teachers or anybody ever tutor for them? I just got a call and was wondering what the pay was like..I can't imagine it being that great...

my sister used to work there.... based on her experience anyway, I wouldn't recommend it. She moved to Sylvan which paid a lot more and she liked it much better....

i worked there for awhile also and hated it. The pay stunk and i had my masters, they barely trained me and their 'program' is a waste of money... I can tutor a child for less money per hour and they would get more help. I really didnt like it at all.

I work at Kaplan, and our tutoring division is called Kaplan Premier. Premier tutors start at 20-25 an hour depending on experience. You might want to check that out.

The place is just awful. I used to be an assistant director, and I would hire teachers and work as one...it was terrible.

I went there to talk to some woman...and the pay is $10 an hour...after taxes what is that like $8.00 an hour...I guess it is back to waitressing for me...

That is so ridiculous! With a master's?? Crazy! I got a call from them about 2 or 3 years ago for an assistant director's position. I was all excited till the woman told me the hours and I think the benefits I wasnt happy with either. I never called her back. Just didnt appeal to me. So glad I now know what its really like there. There are times when I do kick myself and tell myself it might have worked out. Oh well, everything happens for reason.
