Hey girls (& guys), sorry for another Q, but I can't reach my professor at Hunter. I wanted to know if it is standard policy to put Magna cum Laude or Summa Cum Laude ON your diploma? Or 2nd, does your Major usually give you a separate certificate, IF anything?
I was disappointed b/c there is no notation on my diploma & I didn't even get a certificate from the Education dept.
Anyone?

If you graduated Summa or Magna they will put that on your Diploma. I would call Hunter and inquire again.

Undergrad it is on mine (not from Hunter) but grad there was no honors notation, though I had a 4.0.

OH Ok. On my undergrad it wasn't on my diploma (at Queens) but the Psych dept. gave us a separate certificate.

I graduated Summa from my school and I am not sure if it is noted on my diploma, but I think it is noted on my transcript. I'd rather it be on the transcript - that is where funding sources and potential employers will see it.
