I have a friend looking to re-locate to Huntington and she wants to get an apartment (buying is not an option). So far I've suggested the Knollwood Apartments, the Gerard Street Apartments, and the ones on Nathan Hale (even though I think they may only be co-op). Does anyone know of any other apartment complexes in Huntington? I live here but we have a house so I'm kind of clueless even though I really want to help her. TIA!
Has she considered renting an apt. in a house? I live in hunt and we rent the upstairs of a legal 2 family, absentee landlord. i found it on craigslist - not a bad place to start!
There is a beautiful apartment community right on the border of huntington in melville Avalon Court, behind costco....they have an affordable housing program strictly based on the number of people in the apartment and the total household income. As long as they qualify, they can get a beautiful apartment for a great price......call 631-454-4500
