Re: Huntington Country Inn
Is that on Jericho - a little west of 110 (with a restaurant next door?)

Re: Huntington Country Inn
I have lived in Huntington my whole life and never heard of this. This is a wedding place? or a hotel? If it's a hotel, I think i've seen it on Jericho Tpke, never known anyone who's stayed there though.

Re: Huntington Country Inn
Its a hotel or an Inn. I found it online because I wanted a room with a jacazzi. I just found out that the room we booked at the Inn at Plainview is not what we wanted and the room we want is now booked. I am so ticked off.

Re: Huntington Country Inn
Actually I was a BM in a wedding at the Huntington Town House 2 years ago, and the night before the wedding we stayed at the suite (bridal suite?) there and her rehearsal dinner was at the restaurant next door. The hotel was very nice, quaint and comfortable...and the room that we stayed in turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL place to take pics before we left for the church (it was really pretty with alot of pinks in the motif)
I know that there was some big sunken in tub - whether or not it was a jacuzzi, I don't know. However, my friend told me that on their wedding night (they stayed in the same room) the hotel put rose petals all over the room, and in the tub.
Hope this helps!

I've stayed there a few times, the tubs have whirlpool jets but aren't jacuzzi. The rooms are nice, very lovely decor, and the do the rose petal thing if you are staying in one of the suites...very reasonably priced...comfy beds....

Re: Huntington Country Inn
Our wedding guests (and my DH and I) stayed there a few years ago... The accomodations were great - the rooms are really nice. However, they lost many of the reservations and they didn't give out a lot of the guest bags (someone had a feast - I guess). They also couldn't tell me how many of my guests had booked rooms - so I ended up making WAY more guest bags then I probably needed to.
Of course, management may have changed or they may have gotten better. Our wedding was 2 years ago - hopefully someone has had a smoother experience lately. Also, we booked about half the rooms at the place, so maybe they were overwhelmed?

Re: Huntington Country Inn
I live in NJ, but getting married in woodbury. I booked a block of rooms there for my OOT guests as well as the suite for myself the night before the wedding. I'm happy to hear people were pleased with it. It was recommended by the CHCC where my wedding is.
