Hey there everyone!!! I am a new member of this site...and so far I think it is GREAT! :)
I think we are booking our August 2011 wedding at the Huntington Harbor Club!!! Does anyone have anything you can and wanna share about it??? The good...bad...and ugly (although not much about it seems ugly) :)

I live like 5 min away at it has such a perfect location and great views!!
My parents had been to a wedding there about 5 years ago...they came home raving about it (not sure if that helps though because it was about 5 yrs ago)...

Its a great place except if it pouring out bc that area has the bad habit of flooding.

It was the first RH we looked at. We met w/ a guy named Angelo and he was awesome!!! So helpful - not just about the HHC but just about planning a wedding in general.
The place was nice - great views but the overall 'look' of it just wasn't what we imagined for our wedding.
I don't doubt for a second that they would do an amazing job though - angelo talked a lot about the menu, where they get their food and the quality which was really nice to hear.
On a side note: we couldnt actually get to the place b/c all the roads were closed due to some street fair. So we had to park on the side of the road some place and he came in his car to find us and we followed him through all these side roads to the HHC. We were over an hour late to the appointment b/c of all the craziness but he never blinked an eye at it.

My friends have been to weddings there and they said the CH is loaded with food!!!!!

I am sure we will love the taste testing in a couple of weeks...and I hope once it is signed and booked...planning will get A LOT easier and fun!!!
