Already married but asking for a friend: Has anyone been to a wedding at the Huntington Hilton, or even looked at it for your own wedding? How was it?
I have never been to a wedding there but every year my law school has a formal dinner dance there. It is ok but not my taste. Two years ago they would take the drinks away the minute you put it down on the table so you constantly had to get more drinks. We had our cocktail party in one room and the dinner and dancing in another room. The service was ok but nothing special. I can't tell you if things would change if it they were dealing with a wedding or not. The rooms themselves are nice though and I would recommend them as a place to block rooms. I hear the marriott downt the block is nicer.
I had my rehearsal dinner there, in one of the meeting rooms which they decorated for me, and it looked absolutely beautiful!!! They even gave me centerpieces that were left over from a wedding earlier that day! They brought in trees, beautiful lights, etc. They did a GREAT job! And for 50 people at the dinner (and we had the room for over 4 hours!!!), it was only $1300!
