Has anyone stayed there? If anyone has, please let me know how your stay was. We are about to block rooms there, and I just saw a bunch of bad reviews on trip advisor, and I'm getting a little scared. When we went it was beautiful and everyone was sooo nice, but I just read about rooms smelling like smoke and no AC in the summer! I don't know what to do! Thanks in advance!

We booked there for our wedding. Haven't heard anything about the AC and only heard good reviews. As for the smoke, they told us that they have a Japanese airline that uses many of their rooms each week and some of them smoke in the rooms. I smelled smoke in one of the rooms we had seen on our tour.

We have many of our co-workers from the UK stay there. It's within walking distance from our office. They have nothing but WONDERFUL thing to say about it. Many of them say that it is super fancy compared to the hotels in the same price range in London. HTH!

I blocked rooms there as well. I haven't heard anything bad - my aunt stays there every time she travels to NY (which is a lot) and loves it.
I also rented a shuttle - which is very convenient

That's cool, weekend twins I have the papers and am sending them, but am a little scared still about the reviews -- look at this thread on BHB. But I guess every hotel will have complaints. I looked at Marriott and Holiday Inn on Trip Advisor, and they also have very mixed reviews. When I was there, it looked beautiful and everyone was nice. What shuttle company are you using? Are you using theirs? Theirs only fits 11 people, and I don't want to do multiple trips because my RH is about 15 minutes away, and that would be a 30 min. round trip, so I'm looking into a shuttle bus, but not sure where to look.

We are using HH's shuttle - we aren't blocking too many rooms - and WCC is about 5 miles away.

i stayed there during a beer fest and it was great. I would of blocked there but they didn't supply a shuttle for free.

We are not sure what company we are getting our shuttles from yet. We need many because we blocked 40 rooms. Coindre Hall is about 15 minutes away in Huntington Harbor.

I am booked there for the night of my wedding and I've been there several times before and it is always beautiful. I cant tell you how many brides I see staying there on their wedding night...it is very popular, so you shouldnt have a problem

I stayed there for a wedding I went to this past July. I thought the lobby was nice (it was cool how you could watch the pool). My room was fine. No complaints at all.
