Huntington Hilton/Melville

Hi,

Has anyone stayed at this hotel? Was thinking of booking it for our wedding night stay.

We stayed there on New Year's Eve after their big party & it was really nice. We were so pleased, in fact that we blocked off our guest rooms there & we're renting their suite on our wedding night. If you have any questions, feel free to FM me. HTH!

I blocked rooms there for my wedding.
Switched the block from the Four Points Sheraton.
Got a better deal off of the rack rate, and a better deal on the brunch the folllowing morning.

At first I blocked rooms at the Sheraton in November, but then when I changed my mind, I blocked rooms again in March. Just wanted to get that out of the way.

They offered us the Jr. Suite for $189 a night or the Full Suite for $239 a night in November. Both suites included the 'Honeymoon Package' which is a bottle of Champagne, breakfast for two in the morning & late check-out at 2pm.

They also told us that we could pick up breakfast for our guests using coupons that they'll provide us with for our OOT bags (we'll only pay for the ones that are used). Here are the breakfast coupon options that we were quoted:
- Breakfast Buffet (7-11am) for $12.95++ per person
- Brunch Buffet (11am-2pm) for $16.95++ per person
- An Open Coupon where they can come down whenever they want and we'll just get charged accordingly

Hi we blocked them for our wedding too and i have to tell you i was pleasently surprised.

The rooms were very large and clean (i would say more of a corporate hotel) but the bar stayed open for us and our guests until 4am which was great!

Then we had a brunch the next day and it worked out perfectly....

We also blocked our rooms there because other places we saw were smelly, weird, or other hotels were disorganized. I can't wait to stay there the night before and on our wedding night!
