Huntington Town House

Huntington Town House

There was an article in Newsday today about the closing of HTH. The deal is expected to be signed tomorrow. Loews is buying them out for $35 million and building a store. They started refunding deposits for all future events booked according to other RH's receiving phone calls to check availability from people that were booked at HTH. I hope that any LIW brides that are booked there are aware of this.

OMG a friend of the fam was trying to talk me into this place but I was like I didn't get a chance to go see it yet. Thank Goodness I didn't listen...

They said they started to refund deposits last week to people who booked far in advance.

luckily, I don't think anyone booked there, none of the 08 girls at least. There were plenty of rumors leading to this

My FHs cousin was booked there for Oct 7, 2007. So needless to say we've been calling around - need a decent hall at a very good price!

Stupid Rhona! She knew she was going to sell!

OMG That is horrible!!! They should refund them their money PLUS a lil extra for the trouble these couples are going to have to go through finding another hall!!!

Re: Huntington Town House

even if they ARE selling. . .they should do the RIGHT thing and hold off until a year from now and that way the people they cancel still have a year to book - yes i know it is naive to think that people AREN'T thinking about money . . . but it seems like hte right thing to do!
