Re: Huntington Towne House?????
The place is really huge and can have up to 6 recptions going on at one time. That is something to keep in mind - the place is sometimes a mad house. Also they have a few complaints with the BBB.

Re: Huntington Towne House?????
I have been to one wedding there and 2 New Years Eve parties. I was not so impressed. The place is decorated very gaudy IMO, although I understand everyone has different tastes. The food is not very good!

I went to see it and honestly wasn't a fan of the banquet manager we met with. He was too car salesman-y and kept going on about how we'd never find a better deal than he was offering us and how he could only give us the deal if we booked that day. He got annoyed and kinda snotty when we said we had to think about it. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth!

Re: Huntington Towne House?????
In all honesty, I DO NOT recommend this place.
My brother got married there 7 years ago and it was the hottest day of the summer and their air coniditoning broke and they kept telling my parents that they were going to have the centrail air fixed but they never did anything. They did not even set out any fans for us. Also, when you watch my brothers wedding video, everybody is sweaty and all the men have their suit jackets off and their ties either loosened or totally off. I really do not recommend them.
Also, when I start telling people who were not at the wedding about this incident I always hear another story very similar to this. They are known for having problems with their centrail air unit. There have been many other weddings that this has happend to from what I hear and you would not want this to happen to you.
There are so manyother places out there that have a better reputation.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

Had a class reunion there, it was ok.
I haven't seen one positive review about it though on this site.

Re: Huntington Towne House?????
My HS prom was there too!
I went to a wedding there in 2005 and I have to say - the food was lousy.
It's also very large and not intimate at all. Other wedding parties were all using the same hallways and foyers - no privacy. It was very strange.

Re: Huntington Towne House?????
ughh..we met with a BM there and were both so turned off by the place b/c of him. When we asked about a food tasting we were told they're not a restaurant and do not offer 'free meals' but that their reputation speaks for itself (which is now pretty funny in light of this post! ) b/c Donald Trump flew their chefs out to cater some function for him...WOW, REALLY!? I'm SO impressed
