Does anyone know what the $29.95 price covers? Thinking of going there for my daughters sweet 16, but on top of the wedding expense we cant go crazy. TIA

Re: Huntington Townhouse
I think to get that price you have to be REALLY flexible with the date. I know it says 'you be flexible with the date and we'll be flexible with the price' or something like that. So just be weary when you go and know that if you have a specific date/time in mind you may not get the $29.95 price.

Re: Huntington Townhouse
Thanks for the info. I know about the condos but my daughters birthday is in June so Im sure I have time We're very flexible with the date to avoid paying the june prices. We were thinking even holding off if necessary until September. We were planning on the Knights of Columbus in Oceanside but figured for the same money maybe we would look there. Any suggestions are very much appreciated. Thank Again Girls

Re: Huntington Townhouse
i booked there and for a saturday night wedding we got a 69.98 per place price and got a lot of extras with it. I wasn't crazy about the place but the price is right the food is good and they are doing everything we asked of them they were very accommodating.

Re: Huntington Townhouse
I got married there a few months ago, and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I should of paid $10 more per person, and gone with my first choice. They are very unproffesional.

Wow I didnt think of that thanks!! Honestly I'd be fine with a holiday, friday, or day time. After all it's for a bunch of 16 yr olds Thanks for all the info though it's great. How about Manor East? It's right by my house any thing you could share?

Re: Huntington Townhouse
Check the lessings facilities.
I had my sweet 16 at Smithtown landing CC- it was awesome, and the price was great.
Try Tall Grass, Timber Point, etc
lessings is a vendor on here

for that price, a few dollars more and you can get woodbury CC - don't assume HTH is always that cheap!

Re: Huntington Townhouse
We did my daughters confirmation party in the downstairs room of the Oceanside Knights of Columbus and it was beautiful and only $23 per person for a Saturday evening. We just thought she might like a change and I saw the add for the Huntington Townhouse and was just curious what it would run. We were thinking alittle more would be okay but not much. We were also thinking of LaPiazza in Merrick.

we looked there for our wedding....and they showed us the best room in the place.....and then told us we could only have it if we had like 200+ people (at the time we thought we'd barely topple 100) so we said, no....so they offered to let us have it anyway...but we'd have to pay for the missing 100 people! ***!?!?! then when he realized that was NOT flying, the guy (the owner's son) lowers the price by like $20/person....sorry, we still did not book.....i agree, they seemed so unprofessional yet they seemed to be striving to say they were the most professional.

Cheryl, you should really be glad that you did not book with them. I had the most horrible experience with them.

Re: Huntington Townhouse
I wouldnt have anything there. I originally booked there, but I decided I would rather have a smaller guest list and have it some where else. I sent a certified letter and was able to get all my $$ back.

Re: Huntington Townhouse
I just had my DH's 40th b-day party at the Main Event in Plainview. They were fabulous! The food was great. The owners are Mike and Alex and we couldn't be happier.
We did a small boat (raw bar) along with a buffet and full open bar. FM me if you want the prices.

Re: Huntington Townhouse
I head that they were selling to out condos up, there was an article in the paper, b/c pparently a part of it is historical , I'd look further in to that, before booking an affair there

I love the milleridge inn. I'll try calling them thanks. I think $30 is about all we want to spend.
I just wanted to say thanks again for all your suggestions. I'd feel horrible if we couldnt throw her something because of the wedding plans. Not that she really deserves it with all her teenage drama but you only turn 16 once and hopefully it's true that they grow out of it. I dont remember ever being a teenager like this.
