Huppa question

I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong. My FH and I are getting married in an interfaith service - and I have no idea where I can get a huppa (would like an arched one). Any ideas?

Thanks!!!

Re: Huppa question

There is a thread all about Jewish brides that was started a couple of days ago. Also, do a search for them. I know that a couple of brides are going to make them.

Jewish bride here, you can ask your hall if they provide one OR the florist makes one. My florist is making mine!

Re: Huppa question

OOOOORRRRRR if you like, you could attach something special, like a tallis to four poles. Super cheap and sentimental, like from a grandfather or father! Or a flag, etc.

Re: Huppa question

our florist is making ours. check with your florst, some caterhalls rent them out and then you decorate them, or you can buy the frame of one at michaels and then decorate it with flowers or anything else you want

Re: Huppa question

Ask your florist, or the people in charge wherever you are getting married (temple or hall). They will either be able to supply you with one, or with the names of people who can get it.

Re: Huppa question

ask your florest or I know there is a company that makes hand held ones on four poles and it is suppose to be an honor to the people you ask th hold it up for you the huppa is a piece of fabric with monagrams and such that yuo design. After you store it and save it to be passed down in your family It really is very nice and special
