Hurrican Belt

Does anyone have a map or list of what is affected by hurricanes in the carribbean - I can't find it

Your wedding is in July. I highly doubt you will be affected by a hurricane.. Hurricanes usually start mid august.

To be safe, why dont you go to Aruba, they are not in the hurricane belt at all!

As far as aruba I'm kind of boycotting it because of Natalie Holloway .. I know its silly but...

In the Caribbean, I was told it was the A-B-C islands: Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao.

We looked at Cabo San Lucas & Hawaii because we wanted to stay away from the hurricane area.

I was told by a travel agent that Aruba and Curacao are 2 islands not in the hurricane belt. I have been to Curacao twice, but you have to expect to be a complete vegetable there. there is not that much to do on this island.

We are going to Cabo San Lucas for our honeymoon in October. My cousin went there for hers and loved it!

Curacao is also below the hurricane belt. I went there in 2002, and had a wonderful time. I would highly reccommend it.

I know it was mentioned earlier that there was nothing to do, but I disagree. I took and island tour, a tour of the curacao distillery, a tour of the amtel light brewery (both complete with free samples). I also went snorkeling, bike riding and went on a sunset booze cruise.

We stayed at the Breezes superclub which had everything that we could have asked for.
