Hurricane season brides!!!

Where are you honeymooning?

FH and I want St. Lucia Sandals but are afraid we'll get hit in September.

i think we are going to take a risk and go to sandals in august-they have that hurricane guarantee thing--but its still a big risk...

yes-we booked sandals antigua....im very nervous but they have the hurricane guarantee....but just my luck....

We booked w/ Sandals, the Whitehouse in June, and they have a great hurricane policy year round. I'm surprized your ta didn't use it as a selling point

Going to Aruba---no hurricanes there. When hurricanes hit, a lot of cruise ships get re-directed to Aruba.

We went to St Lucia - our wedding was 1st week in OCt. DH did TONS of research to make sure we wouldn't get hit and we hardly got a drop of rain. We had beautiful weather the entire 9 days!! Can't complain about that

And some of the tours are comparable in price to Sandals.... only its 12 days... not 7.

Ditto! We are booking Sandals Grande St Lucian...

We stayed at the Sandal's Grande St. Lucian this past August and it was beautiful. On our 5th day, we were hit by Hurricane Dean and the staff was amazing. Quite a bit of damage occurred, but the fun continued... they kept the music playing. food cooking, and drinks flowing. After a day or two of clean-up. the resort was up and running as if nothing had even happened. Even so, thanks to the Hurricane Guarantee, we're headed to Sandal's Dunn's River for 11 nights on our 1 year anniversary FREE OF CHARGE because our honeymoon had been interrupted by the storm.

You can't go wrong booking with Sandals!

They have a hurricane policy? I should check that out... We wanted to go away with fhs newlywed brother and sil but we can only go in Aug (teaching)

We were thinking about going to the Canary Islands because of Hurricane season, but I don't know if I want to go there considering how much more expansive it will be than the carribean
