hurry i need help

bottom line....i am emailing my girls some info for the day of.....
i don't want them to wear facial jewelery. some of them have eyebrow and nose rings and i really dont want that in my pics. how can i be not a beast about it?!?!? please helppppppppp

umm thats a tough one... im having a similar issue....

Is there anything else youve asked them to do like wear your hair up?

Try to not make it drawn out... im thnking of just asking my girls...I would really love it if everyone wore their hair up - it really compliments the neck line.

Maybe just say - I would really love/appreciate it..if there was no facial jewelery for the pictures.

Simply state it...your paying for the pics and you have to look at them.

Tweak it a bit... i know this is sore for a lot of brides.

I guess that might work -- but they might be offended. This reminds me of the hair and tattoo threads

luckily my BMs dont have any funky piercings, tattoos or crazy colored hair. I'd love for them to get their hair/makeup done but I'm not forcing them -- much less controversial though

I understand that its your pictures......But Im going to be honest...
I dont have any piercings anymore, I took them all out when my daughter was born...
But I had my eyebrow and labret pierced....
I was in my cousins wedding in 2004 and had my eyebrow done at the time.. I left it in....

If my girls had piercing on their faces, I wouldnt ask them to take them out...
And I would b a little offended if someone asked me to as well...
How I feel is this... I asked my girls to be in my wedding because they are special to me... I asked them while their piercings were in, I wouldnt ask them to take them out... Thats who they are.... I dont se it as ruining my pictures.. If they are special enough to be in my wedding, they are special enough to come as they are....

Thats just my opinion...

I had facial piercings and since had them removed because it doesn't work for my job situation. I have a bm who is heavly tattood and pierced and all i said was just remove the septum ring for pics and ceremony (or flip it up) only becauese in pics it looks like snot hanging it (which it does - i had one myself and every pic not a close up looks like **** hanging out of my nose). I said everything else is fine.

You gotta give a little and take a little - I wouldn't fret over a eyebrow ring though - if you had asked me to remove it i think i would be annoyed but in the end do it.
