Hurt and confused

I feel as if I have been ignored. Every now and again I try to post some questions and no one responds to them honestly. I thought this was supposed to be a helpful website.

I talked to my FH about this and he thinks I am nuts for even consulting with you people. I tolk him he is wrong about you all.

I don't think anybody targets you specifically to ignore. The post you are probably referring to was a confusing question and the girls just got silly with it. No big deal. To answer your question from that post, there are a lot of things on this website that are very unique but it seems like everybody does them. However, if you think about all the brides that are not a member of this site and all the weddings that occur without any help from LIW, then the ideas on this board would still be unique to your wedding. I hope this helps and makes sense. Please don't be hurt...I don't think anyone is ignoring you on purpose

Dont be hurt! I am sure no one ever means to make your posts a 'joke' but JMO maby try being a little bit more specific with you questions. All the girls are very sweet and helpful on this site. Just give it a chance! And join in on the fun!

Sometimes the internet can be very tricky because you dont hear peoples tone of voice and if they are joking or not- trust me this caused so many fights bw my FH and my BF because we may mean something in a joking way but comes our serious over the PC

i'm sorry that you feel that way. I'm sure no one intentionally wanted to hurt your feelings. The girls here are nice and sweet, and they give great ideas. I hope u will continue to post more .

Dont be hurt, none of us understood the question that was being asked. We all try to answer whatever questions that we know that we can. Things are always taken the wrong way on the computer-Im sorry if I offended you personally-it wasnt intentional

thanks so much, it has just been such a stressfull time lately. i guess i need to work on my question asking skill. on a happier note i just found out that my fh is planning to take professional dance lessons (he has 2 left feet). he's trying to keep it a secret, but i can be quite the detective

i'm new to these LIW boards...but if you're looking for some help i like using TheKnot.com boards....under Long Island Talk. Those girls are very helpful when you have a question.
