Husband's new monster chair!!!!!!!!!!!

I got on the thing last night, and while in the process of reaching for the lever, to recline, I was startled when the footrest came up by itself!!! Then, I could hardly get the footrest to go down!!!!!!! I was beginning to think I was going to be there all night!!! That chair has a mind of it's own!!!!!!!!! Mary
