Thanks so much! I don't know if it would be Hyatt specific questions as much as that location. It seems like they are offering a lot for a little and didn't see much activity on the place. Just wondering why. If you're SIL knows anything with that specific Hyatt that is wrong I guess that would be good to know!

i have actually been speaking with Doris from the hyatt, and i thought the same exact thing as you!! it looks beautiful; and the price per person is very good considering what you get, but I have never even heard of anyone else who has gotten married there, or even looked there.

Im in the same boat! Any girls visit yet?

I met with Doris also! She's amazing! She really knows her stuff. She had so many dates available which worried me....but you know I guess these days hotels aren't usually an option with all of the halls available. I love it - I think it's great so your OOTowners have an option - or local guests who want to drink - Plus you have the Hamlet right next door if you want rehearsal or sunday brunch too....When are you thinking of getting married?

Hi!
I didn't get married there but our block was there. From dealing with them on that they were extremely helpful and nice!
The hotel is very nice and clean, the rooms are decent size. There's I believe 1 or 2 lounges/bars. When we were having a drink at the lounge on our wedding night we noticed there were two weddings going on.

We had one guest that decided last minute (after our block expired) that he wanted to stay at the hotel. I shot them an email and she immediately responded and was able to help him out with a room at the same block rate.

And there's a golf course on site -albeit expensive- if your husband is into golf!

we want to get married in sept 2011 but my cousin is getting married also in sept 2011 and I just dont want to burden the family, esp since all my side is in CT, and its a lot of money. And she was engaged first. if we can do oct that would be great but we might have to push it back until sprin 2012

I THINK there was a brides review from a few years ago at the Hyatt. Trying looking on that board and see if you come up with anything :)

a friend of ours got married there 3 years ago... it was PERFECT. they had a traditional Hindu wedding with a christan ceremony as well... so it was an ALL day thing (should have been 3 days) but everything was perfect!
and their VH.. .OMG.. their choc mousse.. DELISH!

I was actually interested in this venue as well, but was not sure about the price point. Can someone advise what the estimated price per person is?

TIA Ladies

I was quoted I belive 110 or 115 pp for Saturday and 105 or 110 for Sunday - they give you alot for this price - I am definitely considering it!
