hyatt Kuai

I posted this on NWR board also. Thought Hawaii honeymooners should know the latest--
We will be staying put-Hyatt it will be....

For all those who are still contemplating about switching from the hyatt
hotel this is an email that my travel agent received from them today.

We will still be staying there. It won't really affect us.

GOod luck with your choices!!!

Thank you for the e-mail. It is true that we have begun our roof
restoration and room renovation project. These projects started the
last week of March 2003. The planned ending date is scheduled for the
first week of December 2003.

We have been planning the projects for about one year. We believe that
we have made some very good decisions so that the projects will be as
transparent to our guests as possible. For example we will be using an
electric crane versus a diesel crane to eliminate the noise. So far
during the initial phase of our work these cranes have been amazing in
its ability to reach certain areas but at the same time remain quite and
unobtrusive. All the work will is being done from the mountainside of
the building so that none of the pools or facilities has or will be
affected during the project.

We have also placed rooms in and around the work area in an out of order
status to use as an added buffer. While the rooms are not being sold,
we will and are taking this opportunity to renovate the rooms so that we
can work both projects simultaneously.

Please let me know if this does not answer your questions. We are
committed to making sure that our guests have a vacation of a lifetime.

Aloha
