Anyone have info on this hotel? Been there? Tried to reserve a room block? Do they have a bar? Shuttle?
I called about 2 months ago and no one ever called me back.. Was going to start looking for hotels again since I can almost book a block.. I have a lot of hotels in mind so just want some info so I know whether to keep them on the list or not.. Thanks

I work right behind the hotel... they opened about 2 months ago so noone might have been there. I know one of the main reasons they built that hotel and the one right next door to it is because there are 3 RH with in a 3 mile radius of here. Someone i work with from OOT stayed there and said it was very nice! (i mean its brand new how could it not be ) give them a call again hopefully someone will be able to answer your call...

I have a room block for my wedding in November. We've been there twice now to visit (once ourselves, then again with our Moms.)
Hotel is great...it just opened at the end of January. Rooms are beautiful - they can sleep up to 6 per room (2 queens, plus a double pull out.)
Hyatt Place kind of prides themselves in being very modern...they don't charge per person per room, so if you have a bunch of people that want to stay together they don't charge extra. They can also split the bill then 6 ways.
Each room has a 42' plasma as well. They have a great breakfast, with a bar and all day long food available which can be ordered from your TV.
Lastly, all room types are the same price (group rate of $129/night.)
Only negative was that there is no shuttle provided to the reception hall, but with the room price so low, we're providing a shuttle bus for our guests.

hello i went there, there is no shuttle to take you back and forth to anywhere unless this has changed since i went like 2 months ago and no there is no bar in the hotel either try the holiday inn next door to the chateau briand im having my wedding day there i blocked a bunch of rooms there and my wedding is on a sunday they are leaving the bar open for me

we didn't use the hyatt place, it didn't open until well after we had blocked our rooms. i would suggest trying the Hilton Garden Inn in Westbury (right behind Bed, Bath, and Beyond). they had a shuttle and were able to take all of our guests to and from Westbury Manor. they were very accommodating to my guests and provided lots of helpful information. all of my OOT guests keep telling me how wonderful the hotel was. if you want specific info, feel free to FM me.
