hyatt Regency Wind Watch

Has anyone ever been to a wedding here or knows anybody who had a wedding there? They were REALLY nice and helpful on the phone. TIA!

This was one of the last places we visited as a possible reception site. The woman was very friendly on the phone and was also very nice and met us on her day off (Sunday) since it was the only day that I was available.

Bad parts:

She started out by showing us the menu/options. I found it to be VERY limited suggestions and they were very expensive for a Friday in November compared to the other 8-9 places we visited. If you wanted upgrade to get more food/better selections the price went even higher. The cocktail hour room kind of reminds me of a cafeteria setting in the way that they display the food. The carpet in the cocktail area is very stained and we asked them if they were going to replace it anytime soon and she said it was brand new and had just been cleaned. There are not many places to take pictures (one staircase and one fireplace).

The nice parts:

It's at a hotel
the bridal suite is nice
you get a free room for the night

my sister got married there in 2005 (LIBrideinBWI) and we LOOOOOOOOOOOOVED IT!

The best part was that a bunch of us were staying in the hotel and the party just CONTINUED till 3am. They let us move into the Bridal Suite b/c we were making too much noise in my brother's room.

The food was great... I loved it.

The woman i spoke to was super nice on the phone (compared to the million other places i called today) and she said she would work with us on price but she was the highest for Feb, and she said its the same price year round, they don't change b/c of the season.

Thanks for input ladies!!!
