my question is if you had a late summer wedding did you guys experience the hydrangeas wilting?

Re: hydrangea question
Yes...and yes! I had hydrangea in my bouquet (totally wilted, but beautiful while fresh!) and the BM's bouquets, but we had to remove them from 2 of the BM bouquets due to wilting. I would ask that the florist provide a water source if you have your heart set on them. They really look beautiful. I have pics in my review.

Re: hydrangea question
The same thing happened to me. My flowers looked somewhat greenish brown by the end of the ceremony, IMO.

Re: hydrangea question
Hmmm...that's a good question. I'm having mini hydrangia in my bo-k, and I hope it doesn't wilt. Does anyone know of any more robust flowers that look similar and are that same spring green?

Be careful with that....my friends BMs had this problem. Maybe hydration packets can help.

I wanted hydrangea and my florist told me no no no. She said it would wilt before most flowers.

Same here...we wanted them for our pew flowers/bows but florist said it wasn't a good idea!

Re: hydrangea question
I had them and by the End of the wedding they were pretty much done. They survived the crazy hot sun all day, but they wilted by the end.
