So I'm sick of the headaches, sore throats, my pretty marshmallow and waltz nail polish turning that brownish hue, so........
Has anyone ever been to one or know of a good one through conversation with others who have used it....

My mom is in MA so she really can't help, but she is a trained hypnotist and has helped people stop smoking, sports training, etc. before. She doesn't practice anymore but she did while I was back in MA -- she used to help us with our sports and it really worked!
Not everyone though can be hypnotized, so it is of course not 100% guaranteed to work.

my boss does hypnosis--she says it works...im thinking of trying it for weight loss but that bc i get it for free, ill let you know if it works if i try it

There's a women that my work hires to come and do this for smokers and people who are overweight. I've heard from co-workers that she's good and she is based out of LI. Check out her website. I didn't do it myself, I don't smoke. http://www.stanfordmethod.com/Home_Page.php

I really need to stop as well. My Mom went to one a few years back and she stopped for a while but now shes smoking again.... maybe she didnt keep up with it? I've heard good things though. GL

I did the greene seminar. It didn't work. It wasn't one on one. My friend did a one on one session which was ALOT of money!! and she quit!! I know two people that used laser ray which was about 300 and they both quit. I alsa know to people who have used acupuncture within the last month and they both quit!

Before I say anything I smoked a pack a day for about 6-7 years and for a while a little less than that. I LOVED SMOKING - I still do but I quit cold turkey.
I quit January 28, 2007 and it was the easiest thing ever. I was mentally ready to quit and that is my advice if you cant find a hypnotist. I had said I am done with this, smoked my last stoge and that was it.
Its a mental game that you play with yourself.....
My best friends still smoke in front of me all the time and in the car too and I dont even notice.
You have to be ready to give it up.

My aunt and uncle went for accupuncture and they haven't smoked since.

My aunt did it years ago and it worked for til my uncle passed away and started again under major stress.
