HYPNOTIST FOR NON SMOKING..

Hello Ladies,

So I'm sick of the headaches, sore throats, my pretty marshmallow and waltz nail polish turning that brownish hue, so........

Has anyone ever been to one or know of a good one through conversation with others who have used it....

i know ppl who have done this and also the laser treatment. Kinda mixed reviews, i was thinking of the laser but its kinda like 50/50 from the stories ive heard. DH said that he noticed those who REALLY wanted to quit and were determined and ready to do it, then got the laser they were able to quit. There were some that said oh i should quit but really werent ready to quit, they didnt quit.

WIth a hypnotist, i know somebody who went to one but to lose weight. They said they ended up eating more than they used to after going to a hypnotist

my friend went to one and it didnt work i think it depends on the person. My other friend just went on chantix and hasent smoked since...

I kinda think for the Chantix you really need to WANT to quit and be motivated and make a really conscious effort not to smoke. FH tried it a few months back and it did work for him, but when his life got stressful, he just picked it right back up again. He SAYS he wants to quit but I've been hearing that since we met in August 2004 and it hasn't happened yet so who knows!

I think that is true for any of the methods of quitting. I guess there is no magic pill

I totally agree. I wish there WAS a magic pill! I hate that he smokes and he doesn't even confine it to 1 room of the house, or better yet, not in the house at all! He swears that after we're married he will either quit or at least confine it to the bsmt or something, so we'll see!

FH & I used the patches - the store brand was a lot less money. It was rough but once you get through it the changes are amazing !!

I had been smoking for 10 years I used the Chantix pill and I have not picked up or wanted a cigarette in 11 months, I never thought i would quit and since I have I feel like I never smoked and I never even crave one, but thats me

I had a health teacher who did it on a bet, figuring it never would work, but it did.

Good luck with this and I think you're determined that anything you try will just help you make the fight easier!
