Hypothetical Situation...

If you went to a store and bought 5 items, but only 3 of those items got rang up, would you say something, or let it go and think it was your lucky day?

Hate to say it, but this happened to me at TJ Maxx . .. I actually saved like $100 bucks. I really didn't realize until I left, because I bought alot of stuff . . . . but I didn't say a word.

Glad you guys said that...this happened to me today and I knew the total seemed low (like VERY low...oops!) but i didnt say anything. i looked at the receipt when i got out of the store and noticed that she forgot to ring up two items. its my birthday on sunday, so i was thinking maybe it was a gift from above...??? LOL

I would take it as my lucky day! But only if it were from a big corp store... not from a mom and pop shop... I would have to go back and say something then.

same here--i couldn't do it to regular people, but i have no prob skimming some of the cream off a monster corp.'s profits.

I would also consider it my lucky day, but (sorry to be a downer) would feel guilty for a few days, but would get over it really quickly

ok heres a question. I went to the supermarket and gave the girl a $10 bill...she thought it was $100 bill, and proceeded to give me back 94 ...i had to stop her and tell her it was only a 10 i gave her b/c i felt bad ( she looked like she was only 16) when i left the store i was like daaaaaaamn i could have just made a quick 90 something dollars, but i felt karma would come back and bite me, like my car breaking down or something. Would YOU have stopped the girl or kept ur mouth shut and take the money..

there was one time where something similar happened to me. i don't think it was that much of a difference, but i actually felt bad so i was just like i think you gave me too much change.
but usually if something didn't get rung up, i wouldn't say a word.
