Hysterical Phone Call...Well not really! **Updated***

So yesterday I get a call from my DJ and he asks I call him back...I call back and get his father who helps in the office. The father proceeds to go on and on about how the person who booked our percussionist ( AS A SURPRISE mind you) has not paid them or called them back. If he doesn't pay they will have to release the percussionist for another job. So I asked if the called our friend who booked this lovely surprise and they said yes..twice. Then the old man proceeds to tell me that he is sorry to do this to me and tell me about my surprise and blah blah blah! Then he tells me not to say anything to our friend...UMMMMM so they why the EFFFF are you calling me and telling me about all of this if you don't want me to ell our friend that you told me!! The thought was nice but I don't need the aggrevation of this old dude chewing my ear off about not getting paid when I am not even supposed to know about this!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Aggrevation..the gift that just keeps giving!!


SOOOOO...yesterday I get ANOTHER phone call from this crazy guy about how they called our friend and he called them back but never paid them . So now FH and I have to come up with $$ just in case our friend falls through!! SO aggrevating!

OMG this is ridiculous!

I think it's poor business tactics for your DJ to call you guys about a non payment for a surprise percussionist you weren't supposed to know about in the first place. They should've taken it up with the individual(s) who booked it, and if they didn't pay, then don't send the percussionist. You wouldn't have known in the first place, ya know?

We have not asked him about bec the DJ made us swear not to tell him that they told us... so they were calling me to vent I guess??? It is now at the point where the DJ told FH not to worry that if the guy has paid them by the wedding we will pay for the percussionist. Its an added expense that we really were not counting on but FH told me not to worry so I won't.
