I added a bridesmaid -UPDATE
Ok, so FH and I asked our bridal party about 10 months ago. When it was all said and done, FH had 6 guys and I had 5 girls. We were both okay with that and just figured that we'd have 2 guys walk with one girl. No biggie.
But, about 8 months ago, one of my bridesmaids introduced me to one of her friends....And since then, this girl and I have become very good friends. She's actually been more involved with wedding stuff than any of my other BM's. So, FH kept asking me why I haven't asked her to be my 6th bridesmaid. I told him I wasnt sure bc I didnt know her as long as the other girls and I've always looked at my bridal party as girls I've known for a long time. But the truth was that in 8 months, we have become very good friends and has already been involved as it is. I also explained to FH that we ordered the dresses back in August and that if we add another dress, the color might be a little off. Well, I called the store yesterday and they said that I can still order the dress- because my BM dresses were not made yet.
So, I asked my friend last night and she said yes!!!!!
P.S: I know that was probably the most boring story ever but I really wanted to share!

Ok, so I posted this last Thursday. Since then, I took my new bridesmaid to the dress store to add on her dress to the previously placed order. When I get there, the bridal consultant told me that she apologizes for who ever I spoke with, but if I order a dress now, the colors will probably vary a lot. I explained to her that the woman I spoke with assured me that would not happen bc the dresses were not made yet-so they can just add it on the order AND that the woman told me my specific color doesnt vary that much. But now here I am standing there in this store with my new bridesmaid. What could I have done? I can't tell her that she is no longer in the bridal party and that I'm taking back my invite. It was too late and I didnt want to hurt her feelings. But now the dress will be a different shade then everyone else's. What do I do?![]()
